RK Youth Attend Dharma Youth Seminar in Los Angeles

RK youth at Dharma Seminar in Los Angeles

From August 11-14, 2011, youth members from around the U.S. joined in this year's Dharma Youth Seminar in Los Angeles. The intensive seminar lasted two days and was followed by the Nisei Week Parade. Rev. Nick Ozuna, U.S. youth coordinator, instructed the seminar that 12 youth members from RK New York, Hawaii, San Antonio, and Los Angeles participated in.

The seminar's theme was "What Does it Mean to be Buddhist Today?" and included lectures, videos, interactive games, meditation and concluded with a hoza. Many of the youths vowed to be more involved in Rissho Kosei-kai activities and were looking forward to the youth seminars next year.
